Description

The Weldmark® by Victor® 2-GPN series Oxy-Fuel Size 2 Cutting Tip has a 1-1.5 inch cutting capacity. This general purpose 2-GPN series tip is 0.8" long and 3" wide, and comes in two pieces with a spline insert. It is ideal for hand and machine torch cutting. It is compatible with CA2460/61/62 and CA411-1 cutting attachments, and is capable of cutting 14-18 or 12-16 inches per minute with an average kerf width of 0.09". It's designed for use with Natural Gas and Propane, with a max Propane pressure of 9 and a max oxygen cutting pressure of 45. Oxy-Fuel cutting is a thermal cutting process utilizing oxygen or fuel gases to cut through metals such as mild steel. In this process, the torch heats the steel to its ignition temperature, after which oxygen is directed to the cutting point, burning it into a metal oxide. A stream of gas blows the metal oxide away from the work area, resulting in a clean cut.
